About Edinburgh

Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, with its historical buildings, castles, and a remarkable urbanism, truly brings together the old and new. Scotland's capital since 1437, you can especially feel the heritage of the Middle Ages in the city's Old Town district, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Edinburgh is a city built on the shores of the North Sea, although because of the temperate influence of the sea and the Gulf Stream the temperatures are not too cold. The castle in Edinburgh, marina, botanical garden, the Royal Mile, the Scott Monument, Royal Palace, Theatre Building, Castle Rock, Princes Street, Government House, Charlotte Square, George IV Bridge, Nelson Monument, and Scottish Museum are just some of the ways you can spend your time in the city. Edinburg has many historical places, museums and parks to visit. The bar and pub culture is especially popular, and the local whisky is of excellent quality.
