About Trabzon

Trabzon is a notable port city in Turkey's Black Sea Region with a population of nearly 1 million people. Once home to a thriving Pontus Greek population, historical places of interest in Trabzon include the Sumela Monastery, the Church of Saint Sophia, Atatürk’s Mansion, and the Girls’ Monastery. Trabzon Airport is located 6 kilometers away from the city center, near the seaside. Black Sea Technical University Campus is only a 5-minute walk away.

Because Trabzon Airport carries passengers from nearby cities like Rize and Giresun, it is possible to reach these places with Havaş shuttles.

Havaş

You can reach to the center or the districts of Trabzon, Rize and Giresun with Havaş shuttles, after the passenger exit is completed. While Havaş shuttles reach the city center of Trabzon, passing through the stops of Tanjant Road, Tanjant Erdogdu Junction, Yavuz Sultan Selim Boulevard, Uzunkum and Beşirli. The journey time depends on the distance to be traveled, but in total it takes about 30 minutes to complete this route.
